You’ve just made my day. Small pleasures….

  2. Sean Says:

‘classic musicals’ indeed! But one out of three is about the current West End Whingers strike rate for good shows, no?

I remember when these were Phantom, Cats and Les Mis. Suprised that Phantom and Les Mis were not prepared to pay up and continue to look down upon Leicester Sq?

  3. Phil (a west end whinger) Says:

Titan? Haven’t heard of that one..is it a fringe show?

  4. Hmmm. That’s a good idea Phil. Let’s write a musical called Titan and see it achieve instant classic musical status. Which it would anyway, of course.

  5. Mat Says:

They only bake bagels on the premises. Where do the pizzas et baked?

  6. From all that I’ve read about “The Lord Of The Rings,” this would appear to be truth in advertising….that the show is wicked with the sound of music.

  7. Amos Says:

They left the “IC” off TITAN and it’s a rectangular lightbox as opposed to a round one like the others.

  8. Andy Field Says:

look at ‘We Will Rock You’… skulking in the corner like the creepy gothy kid at school that no one would talk to.

  9. thehitchcockblonde Says:

there’s a dwarf standing behind the blond with the fag

  10. Paul Says:

The Sound of Music is the odd one out as the set is crap?

  11. Blimey! It’s like a Rorschach inkblot test, isn’t it?

  12. Gil Says:

OK, you’ve finally convinced me. London Theatre is crappier right now than American Theater.

  13. SeenItAll Says:

‘Italian Pizzeria’ is a modern reworking as a Musical of Arnold Wesker’s 1957 play ‘The Kitchen’. Developed by Giovanni Smith, it has known a resoundingly successful fringe production by the Adel Players (Adel is on the north fringe of Leeds). Restaurant workers from the four corners of Tooting rescue a failing Pizzeria aganst all the odds. Featured numbers are: ‘The Menu Sticks’, ‘Let’s Improve the Menu’, ‘We’ll Never Garner the Ingredients’, Distaster! Menu Espionage’, ‘Who Betrayed Our Menu’, ‘Menu from the Bottom Up’, ‘Menu Applause’.
