Fame

Wednesday 30 January 2008

Nice to get a missive today from erstwhile regular commenter J.A. imploring us to watch this YouTube video with the message: “Right…when is this transferring? Better than half of the tat that’s on at the moment. Surely the Haymarket will be empty soon?!”

Apparently this is Korean (South, we presume) school children singing at a concert in Duryu park in Daegu. Interesting Tap/Stamp fusion.

So, welcome to today’s earworm…

    TOO GORGEOUS!

Let it be soon. I’m also hoping for the choreographer of from this video to come to the West End! Truly the new Busby Berkeley. If he could bring the ‘lead girl’ too, that would be great – one of the best ‘hand on head’ actresses since Julie Andrews.

    That J.A is a scoundrel!

We particulary enjoyed the extra syllable in “in gonna live-a-forever”. We hereby call for all musical theatre numbers from this present day, to issue an extra syllable at some point within the score. Just in honour of the Korean population.

I love this!! The kids are adorable.
